Basic Paragliding Requirements
You don't have to be particularly fit or clever to learn Paragliding, although people with some experience of the physical world do take to it more easily.
The ability to walk up small hills with 20kg on your back is essential to get to the launch area, and in the early stages all the flights are down. When launching Paragliders in light winds it is necessary to run a few paces to generate sufficient airspeed to take-off safely. The good news is that the better you get, the lazier you can be, often taking off near the bottom and flying up the hill, soaring for hours and landing back at the car park! When you get good enough to fly Paragliders coss-country you may be able to fly all the way home!
Regarding Paragliding equipment, Adrenaline provides all the kit you need to begin training (harness, helmet, Paraglider, radio) apart from appropriate clothing for a day in the hills, boots and food.
